Angel eye headlight adjusters

Hi
I have just put new angel eye aftermarket headlights on 206cc, having trouble adjusting height of headlights. I think the adjusters seem to go in OK, only im not getting any adjustment up or down .
I have also tried sliding the auto adjuster from inside the car but nothing is happening .
Is there a easy way of removing the adjusters without snapping the ball off the adjuster?

Manged to put put adjusters in , headlights had to be taken out .
Pain of a job but got the job done ..
