Extra wires after reassembling the fan

Hi,

First post here so hoping it works...

I just replaced the condenser in my 2005 206CC and when refitting the fan noticed there seems to be an extra wire I can't figure out where it goes.

The two chunky plugs are actually interchangeable but then the fan spins the wrong way and fast - thats a easy one to get right.

The small connector only goes to one place, look slike it is a temperature sensor.

The brown connector goes to the bonnet closed detector (I think), which leaves the spare white one. Please could anyone offer any ideas where it should go?

You haven't said whether this is the radiator fan or the heater fan, not which engine you have. Post the last eight characters of your VIN, and one of us can look in the SEDRE.

Sorry about that. It's a 1.6D. The wires are the wire loom behind the front bumper but in front of the radiator and condenser. Vin number ends... 44635015.

Thought I could get away without noting down each cable location as I expected them to only fit in one place. Will take more photos next time.

It has nothing to do with the fans or aircon system. It could be unused. If every thing seems to work, I wouldn't worry.

Either twin speed resistor or coolant sensor. These are the only connectors to have 2 pins on the fan wiring.

I was reassembling the car over the weekend and found where the wire goes. Its for the headlight unit as shown in the photo.

Now just need to stop the rattle on the new condenser, it doesn't have any rubber isolators on the locating pegs.
