valves

Hi, I've just bought a neat (2003) CC 1.6. All good so far, new MOT, wheel bearing and a few odds and sods. Silly question, but how do I find out if it has 8 or 16 valves - I assumed it was 16 but could be wrong. The reg. is BL52HJG. I'll be grateful if nobody laughs at my ineptitude......

Its 16v, they all are even the hdi's (diesels) on the cc.

Should be blue

Thanks very much, the reason I asked is that on various sites on Ebay etc. a question always asks : 1.6, 1.6 16v, or 2ltr. Anyway, well done for knowing it's blue. Just goes to show that you're never too old to learn even at my age!
