Injectors coloured bands

Hiya everyone,
I had a problem with a serious misfire on my 206cc 2.0. I bought it like it as it was very cheap and immaculate. The coil pack had already been replaced. After putting a code reader on it, it cam up with the generic code for random misfire. The plugs were a mix of alsorts, so I put a set of bosch plugs in no difference. I decided to fit a common rail and injectors in. As I couldn't find any 2.0 peugeots in the breakers, I fitted a set from a citreon Picasso 2.0. The only difference being the colour bands around the top of the injectors. Green on the citreon one's and white on the original peugeot one's. Could anyone tell me what the bands mean please.

By the way it cured the problem, and it drives sweet as a nut.

Bands are usually there to indicate things like flow-rate ..

Thanks for that, I changed the green injectors for a set of white one's and there is an notice increased in power. I was wondering what colour the 180 bhp injectors are.
