Hi all,
Since 2005 we are the proud owners and drivers from a 206 1.6 16V MY2004. About two weeks ago, the air conditioning stopped working. I tried to solve this malfunction today and found that the magnetic clutch does not get any power. Does one of you perhaps know where I can find the relay between the on/off switch from the air conditioning (manual operated) and the magnetic clutch? The on/off switch works properly (led indicates green) but I cannot measure any electricity (12V) on the magnetic clutch connector.
Best regards and many thanks in advance for your advice and help in solving this issue,
Dennis

Re: Problem with the magnetic clutch - no power
Have you had it re gassed recently? If it is low on gas the pressure switch will prevent the clutch engaging
Cheers Col.

Re: Problem with the magnetic clutch - no power
Thanks Col for your answer!
Last year, Peugeot serviced the air conditioning from our 206 so my impression is that the level of gas in the system must be sufficient enough to put the system on. Nevertheless, I think I will contact Peugeot for checking if the system has enough R134a.
Best regards,
Dennis
