The grapevine editorial in Autocar this week is talking about the SLK and the 206cc , discussing how other manufacturers are now jumping on the folding hardtop bandwagon .
Alfa (Spider), Vauxhall (Astra), Renault(Megane) are all planning hard top convertibles .
But it also states that Peugeot sold a staggering 78,820 206cc's in 2001 - WOW
Where are all those owners then ?
79,000 sold in 2001!

Becoming more common -- I saw four on the way in to work this morning
Two that 'lightish blue/silver' colour
One silver
One red
What do people think of the red? I'm put off it because of resale (it's the only non-black, non-metallic colour, and hence looks a bit "poverty spec"). OTOH it looks like a nice colour, and would go well with the black/red interior.
The thing about black is that it tends to disguise the lines and shape of the car. But as it's going to be wifey's car I guess it's up to her (although I can imagine who's going to have to clean it  )
