well i've missed a lot today for working to 10pm
i've just had a quick look through some of the posts in this thread as i don't have time to read them all.
a few minor things to say such as .....
stars: they provide a talking point and inject a bit of humour but if anyone seriously think that we post just to get a bigger star then that is a bit shallow. technically my last change in star was at 250 posts and nothing would change again until lyndon recently added a few new ones. i didn't notice me stop posting at 250 as there were no new stars to get.
info: as others have said there is only so many problems that can happen (even with a CC) so if that was all people spoke about then it would be a boring forum and would have a lot less active members.
activity: this may or may not be popular but i did notice that when robbie left the forum recently, i didn't post for about a week or more while i decided if i would leave myself. during that time i still visited the forum but didn't post and was this forum getting a bit boring or what apart from an occasional burst of posts.
what forum: .com doesn't have a great deal of CC info at the moment compared to .co.uk as it's still new but everyone could go over to .com that has a sense of humour and leave .co.uk to CC posts only. the result would be .com being like .co.uk currently is and .co.uk being very quiet and boring. i expect lyndon would prefer a nice active, lively, popular & interesting forum unless the number of posts was making it expensive to run.
i could go on forever but look at the time
i think everyone has different expectations on what they want from a forum but if anyone doesn't want me to post as i normally do - just say so and i'll leave as i nearly did before.

I think this forum is great fun and look forward to reading the fun posts as well as the useful one's.
There are some great people who post items on this forum and the poeple who don't like the cc or the forum disappear with time.
The meet was great as Julia said, you knew who a lot of people where from their posts without having to be introduced. I cannot wait for the next meet and think we should all camp over the night before and make a weekend of it.
And the biggest bonus is the contact's on the site have saved me a fortune and given me idea's to make my little baby a bit different, even though I cannot afford them all right now and want them all now.
Perhaps another section as previously mentioned may be a good idea, then the moderators can delete items frequently to stop the site getting to big.
PS I'm going to London now catch up with you all later!!!
