206cc 1.6 to 2.0 engine swap

Hi all, has anyone ever swapped a 1.6 TU engine for a 2.0 GTI engine?
Can I get away with just swapping out the engine/gearbox etc etc with its engine wiring loom and ecu, OR do I need to swap the BSI, instrument cluster ignition key etc??
I have PP2000 and someone said I can read the code/s off my 2.0 car and just transfer the codes into my 1.6 car instead of changing BSI etc.
Both my cars are complete and running.
Anyone ever done this swap??

Obviously, you need to swap the engine ECU, and I'm pretty sure the BSI has to be written to to "register" the 2.0 engine ECU into the car. Whether you can do that with Planet I'm not sure.
