Getting back to the CC for a moment , why is it that my standard Pug exhaust sometimes gives a lovely satisfying vrooooom sound when accelerating, yet on other journeys is almost silent?

why talk about the CC robbie ?

but trungs right - pressing things like the brake pedal won't make a noise - unless the car is moving where you often hear a loud squeal

Well £200 for a steel exhaust with a lifetime guarantee sounds a great price, infact exactly the opposite of Kwik-Fit where their excellent replacement exhausts will last someone exactly 12 months one day before needing a new one.

Infact all of Kwik Fit services are sh*te and why am I not surprised the company is doing so badly these days - cos most people have been conned by them at one time or another for tyres or brake discs they didn't need.

Ooops sorry everyone, I don't know where that rant came from. :???:

I'm more satisfied when it's silent. How do you get rid of the VROOOOOOOOOOM?

Thanks for the offer Robbie, but it's actually pretty quiet so I'm happy.

noise noise noise, thats wot u need... LOVE IT.when i got my powerflow i actully went back and told them it wasn't loud enough, they replaced the back-box with a smaller one and new larger tail-pipe(not 2 large) for only £30,extra 9 bhp as well, had it tested ,running also pipercross induction kit, dyno'd at 151 bhp. must chip it now, hoping for about 165, hopefully.
HHH,that damn good.....
