Some of you have imported your CCs via UK agents (exclusive-eurocar, motorpoint, whatever). In order to get them registered, you should have the original purchase receipt from the supplying dealer. Any chance of any of you telling me who the supplying dealer (in France, Belgium, Holland or Germany) was for your car, so I could go direct and cut out the middle man? I imported my Scoob direct from a dealer in Holland (Gertjan van der Velde) and the experience was fine. In fact, better than my last experience of buying in the UK. As I already know the procedure I don't see why I should get an importer to act on my behalf.

Motorpoint tippexed the names and prices out on my paperwork. I just picked up the car, pre-registered - didn't have any of that to worry about! Oh, and Motorpoint bought from an agent up north who bought from the EU... all tippexed out as far as I recall...

Don't forget the specification for Europe is different than that for the UK, make sure you pick a dealer familiar with the UK spec/ customers.

Pauline, the supplying dealer will be the one whose stamp appears in the service book for supply and PDI of the car.

Hmmm, was that the square of paper that was torn out? I don't have a PDI stamp :eek:!!!!!

Anyone know the exact specification differences? It must be possible to get the same spec as the UK, because that's what Motorpoint et al do.

Pauline, you might need that stamp for warranty purposes! Call Peugeot UK 0845 200 1234 and verify your car is on their database. The DVLA usually tell the distributors, but this takes time. Your local dealer should be able to add the car to their database if you pop in with your logbook and service book.

- and never like something they trod in! I've already had a couple of little things looked at under warranty FOC, and my first service was FOC too.
