Looking for a rear spoiler for the pug cc; something stylish but discreet, don't want to spoil her beautiful curves!

Any ideas?

as Lyndon says, Ecosse do things like that. The rear spoiler isn't much over £200 and I am thinking of getting one. As I only live 10 miles from their workshop, getting it fitted and painted wouldn't be a problem.

Derek

You sound like a local as I live on the wrong side of the Forth to Ecosse.

Want to come out and show your CC off with the PGAC we'd like to meet you.

Mark,

I live in Whitburn. I am the one you spoke to when I had the problem with Abercromby in July. I ended up buying a CC SE from Arnold Clark, Tollcross, Edinburgh. Let me know what events you have planned locally and I will attend where I can.

Thanks

rear spoiler - warranty. I have seen some pretty nice rear spoilers browsing the net. but here the dealers is stright that every part on the car has to be original and the work has to be done by peugeot garages. If not the warrany will not be valid anymore. Guess its the same all over the world. so the question is if it is an original spoiler in the peugeot sortiment??
By the way, the spoiler seen at ecosse is nice i think.

i can't see how fitting a spolier to your CC would invalidate your warranty, i mean how would fixing a piece of plastic to your boot cause engine problems, etc.

hmm...

The only problem I can see would be if your boot went rusty (sounds nasty  ) where the spoiler is fixed. If this happened though, surely you would have some come back with the company who fitted the spoiler?

I emailed Eccosse about the spoiler but never got a response. Does anyone know how much it is to get painted and fitted?

Bri,

I would try e-mailing Ecosse again as they normally respond although not always immediately.

of course a spoiler dont effect anything on your car. But the dealers policy, unauthorised work - no more warranty is absolut and no discussable.

Bergen, I would write direct to Peugeot and not to your dealer. Ask them if you can add a spoiler and still keep your warranty.

I bet they will let you.

Its in their interests to get people making these cars individual and appealing to a large cross section of the market place.

Its only the cost of a stamp so must be worth trying

Ecosse got back to us about rear spoiler.

The price for the spoiler is supply only, so colour coding and fitting is extra. Price 185+vat (i.e. £217.38);

they'll do mail order, next day delivery for £10+vat. (i.e. well that's easy to work out yourself)

So bottom line £300ish quid all in.

My brother says that's a bit steep, so he's going to make me a cardboard one for Christmas!
