under no circumstances will AXA issue an insurance cover note for a VIN number so there's no point trying them which is a shame as they can be very cheap.

my dealer made a mess of putting my private reg on retention and were in the process of putting it on my CC and had to stop then had trouble getting a normal reg issued without insurance.

long story, but Axa refused to issue it on the VIN so my dealer had to solve their own problems as i wasn't paying more to go elsewhere.

derek
