Hmmmm.... well what a suspicious lot you are! Have any of you ever thought that I can just read (and laugh at you all) rather than join in!!?? Or maybe no other topic has interested me before, or maybe I have just joined and it was my first experience logging onto the forum.... and probably my last at this rate!!

I think I will just put this forum down to a bad experience. I cant believe that someone new logs on and joins in a discussion and gets treated like this. No wonder you have the same people making postings all the time. Surely everyone is entitled to their own opionion? Or are you only allowed to "discuss" is you have the same view as everyone else? I shall go to a forum where Im made to feel more welcome

Pugsax, perhaps it would have helped if your first post had been about maybe introducing yourself, explaining a bit about your car - what spec, extras, whether you've actually got it yet etc...
You've got to admit it looks a bit suspect that you're first two posts were about insurance and - you must admit - sounding like a bit of a 'patsy' for this particular company? Don't you agree? We're not a particularly suspicious bunch, its just some of us have a dry form of humour...So what if you did work for this company, as you quite rightly say, you're entitled to your opinion. But surely in a Discussion of any kind you're bound to meet people who don't totally agree with your opinions and those who do. Unfortunately you touched on a topic that was bound to incite some negative comment. I'd personally like it if you stick around, make a couple of posts about something else and let people see the 'real' you....
(ps - i personally think you don't work for this company and have just been really unlucky!!!!)

I'm with Pugs on this one, some people have to start somewhere, and normally with a topic that they can either have input on - or a problem. It seems that the majority of recent post responses are all either emoticons, wise cracks or just utter tosh, with very little being about the reason for most of us being here. Are most of the remaining users just using this site as a social club, or maybe to further their interests in one-upmanship ? Silent lurkers speak out sometimes, don't bite as their comments may be valuable.
