I have used Optimax in my car a couple of times now (when I can afford it) I personally have definately noticed a difference in the overall running of the car. It seems smoother. I guess it just depends if you want to spend the extra bit for a small improvement. As the saying goes "Suck it and see!!!"

In my experience (YMMV) the extra cost is more than offset by the improved MPG. Result all round

Agree with Carl. I use Optimax and also Mobil Synery 8000. Here they're both high octane unleaded fuels. Used the same in my last Pug (306 Cab) and wouldn't use anything else.

I did get better mileage with the 306 cab not sure about the CC as I've used premium unleaded since day one.
