who ordered a 206 CC without having ever driven one ?
I am getting mine in 2 weeks, didn't get the chance to test drive the car, I bought it for the looks, the reviews and the fact that I have occasionally driven a 205, 106 and 406. And all these cars drive very well, so the 206 CC MUST drive just as good .

Ditto!!!!!!!!!!!

Great car ...... shame about manufacturer and it's dealers!

Why couldn't it have been British built .... possibly by MG Rover resurecting the Triumph name and calling it the TR9!!!!!

Never driven a Peugeot of any shape or form previously...wife got struck with the looks and as we all know, she got her way. Lets just say it 'grew' on me quickly! (and it helped the dealer had one in the showroom - which i offered to buy at a healthy knockdown price, but they wouldn't. Quite glad really, it was a 1.6 Moonstone with HUB-CAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

My sister has the 1.6 in Black with red/black leather trim. I had a quick jaunt in that, took an SE out on the following Saturday for a test drive, paid the deposit and 8 days later mine arrived!

Impulse buy, but , to coin a phrase, 'Sometime you just have to say what the F***!'

(Done 500 miles last week just messin about, I'm still in love  )

ordered mine 18 months before they were released in Australia. Had 2 Pugs previously. Test drove a 1.6 auto about 2 months before I got my 2.0 manual.
Cheers

Didn't have a test drive. Here in Finland is one "show-car" and it belongs to a dealer in Helsinki, so i went to see it but never got a chance to drive it! Didn't buy mine from that dealer! But my previously car was a 205 Cj so CC was after that a great car. I have my CC now over a week, got it last weeks wednesday and weather in Finland is very good ;)

Er, it is, isn't it? IIRC all 206s are built in Coventry.

I have to wait 2 weeks on mine, I ordered it just 2 days ago. The dealer already ordered it 3 months ago, I bet he had a feeling that he could easily sell a grey CC with Climate Control and black leather

I also didn't do a test drive. In fact, it's been almost four months since I ordered and I didn't get to drive a cc at all....

I had owned 2 306 TD hatches before I got the cc and had driven my brothers 205 1.1 so I had a pretty good idea of how the 206 was going to handle.
