HOOPS - CHEQUE CLEARANCE ????????

F.A.O. all members who paid for the chrome hoops by cheque .........

Up until last night my online bank account showed a cheque paid in for Â£130 was waiting to clear.

Today it is no longer pending but has not been credited to my account. This would suggest it has bounced i.e. whoever sent it never had the money in the account to pay for the written cheque.

ACTION REQUIRED:

If you are one of the six people who paid by cheque then please cheque your account and e-mail me at chromehoops@aol.com as soon as possible and tell me if the Â£130 has left your account. This is incase the person affected doesn't respond - this way I can narrow it down.

The other 6 bank transfers have been received without any problems.

Please respond a.s.a.p. as I don't want to hold the order up any longer than is necessary. I don't want to place the order -1 incase the bank have made an error meaning someone would miss out but I am certainly not paying for an extra set of hoops that I don't need.

Has Simon resorted to stocking his hoops by ordering through you Derek?

Seriously though, I hope your bank didn't charge you the Â£25 many do for the privilage of telling you someone's cheque had bounced. :sad:

These things happen, and at least we know we don't have a Simon Pugsport amongst us.

well with one reply and one i know definitely cleared it leaves four people still to respond unless my bank sends me the returned cheque quite quick.

shouldn't get charged Â£25 robbie as i had this once before and they just took the money back out of the account.

maybe simon bought a set under a different name
