An extremely important technical question here from me given my CC is (hopefully) 2 weeks away....

In the back there's that "bottle holder" between the seats. Has anyone actually used it? Has anyone found a more functional use for the cavity (eg a speaker in it, using the chamber for sound resonance)?

I have to admit it really confused me when I saw a demo car here that did the rounds of dealers and car shows a year ago. My first thought was that it was there to hold a golf umbrella in the event that the roof failed.

I'd really be interested to know what current owners think of this interesting feature, whether you've used it and whether you've found some ingenious ways to make use of it.

Cheers

i keep all the car cleaning stuff there
the interior spray cleaner and some clean cloth towels and a sponge. thought of using it as a port for the sub, but realised the sound would make the cover vibrate and there are already 2 decent sized holes behind each seat so no need. an umbrella sounds good!

I find it an ideal cubbie hole to keep sweeties in. Keeps the kids quiet. I did try and put a bottle in it once, it didn't fit!

Some one on the old forum suggested it was for carrying French stick bread in an upright position so that you dont get crumbs every where.

For those who have problem (please no offence) with the interior light I think it's a good idea to put a thin office LAMP in it!!
