My list is qite short.

First car was an '88 E reg Fiesta Ghia 1.1 with XR2 pepperpots and spots. Most reliable car I've had only thing replaced was a blown exhaust and a battery. Shame I stacked it into a tree after I had it 3 years.

Next one was a P reg Peugeot 306 XLDT and had that for 6 months before trying to doggy mount a Renault Clio in it.

My last on was another 306 an S reg DT Meridian that I didn't crash but needed 3 cam belts 3 new water hoses 2 radiators 2 head units and an immobiliser unit. plus some twonk reversed into it accounting for one radiator and a new bumper. Just sold after 3 miserable years

Now I have the 206cc 1.6s and I havent stopped smiling since

NSU RO80 - w***el engine,inboard disc breaks, very avanced for it's time
Ford Capri Mk1 1600 auto - rust heap and under powered
Opel Manta 'B' 1897cc - My pride and joy until it had too many dents
Opel Kadett 'D' 1300cc - average hatch
Opel Monza 3E 3000cc auto - good car
Vauxhall Astra MkII SRI - loads of torque
Toyota Celica 2000cc auto - nice car
Renault Clio RT 1400cc - Electric Blue ruined by thugs throwing rocks at it.
Rover Metro Clubman 1300 auto (wifes first car) - slow
Peugeot 306XT 1800cc auto - very smooth, well sorted.
Renault Clio Baccara 1400cc auto (wifes 2nd car) - first car with leather - spoilt by lack of power.
Lexus IS200 2000cc auto - Excellent car spoiled by minor irritations.
Mercedes 'A' Class Avantgarde 1.6 auto ( wifes present car)- firm ride, most unreliable car we have owned, but a good allrounder.
