When driving home from the pub last night (almost midnight) the stars were lovely and the weather was warm and when I opened the roof the light in the boot was on/came on? and it was a bit like opening the fridge door in the dark. Is this to attract more attention from jealous non-cc owners or is my light permanently on????????

it comes on when you open the boot - a bit like opening one of the doors

not all cars have a light in the boot but most do i would say.

Yes but how do you know the light is not still on in the fridge when you shut the door?

[SCIENTIFIC EXPERIMENT]

What you must do is get a willing volunteer to lie in the boot and then close it. They will then be able to give you the answer.

You can adjust when it comes on and off by bending the bodywork. The switch is located in the centre of the inside of the boot on a thin strip of metal. Just watch the light while you open and close the boot. If it doesn't adjust, then the switch has probably failed. Mine rattles alot.

it can be tricky to fit in the fridge so the best idea is to cut a big hole at the side and stick your head in to check
