I read on a dutch forum that there are some people that were driving in their cc with the roof down and then it suddenly started to rain, no time put the roof up. So they decided to keep on driving and much to their surpise they didn't get wet, while keeping a speed of 70 mph. Anyone else had this experience or is it just a Dutch weather thing

Yep the fast you go the greater the windflow around the car and the less water gets in.
I usually find if its raining moderately driving at 80-85 mph does the trick. But if its raining hard, the greater the down force of the rain and your less likely to succeed. All to do with physics I think.
i was the same once driving on the motorway - virtually no water entering the cabin at 80mph. then when the traffic started to slow to around 50mph i had to make a mad dash at the next exit to get the roof up
