I'm looking on the bright side:

1) I've paid off my flexible loan which will save me around £80 over the period.

2) That, along with the interest due on the remainder of my loan and reduced payments etc for the month have meant I can buy my new leather jacket and the digi camera from Amazon which should be waiting for me at work tomorrow.

3) I (hopefully) get a '52' reg car. I say hopefully coz it's not even out of the factory yet, never mind on my drive

Oh well. Patience is a virtue, as they say. The best things in life are worth waiting for, as they also say.

At least it's been raining for the last few days - I don't feel as bad when it's not sunny

Oh yeah:

4) I may even get to be a CC God without ever actually owning one.

Didn't it just howl down this afternoon? Well, I just got in from a topless jaunt to fill up  Any excuse eh? My first time since, let me see, Saturday

in France I think they holiday most of the year, judging by the standards of their products.

I e-mailed them this morning to ask them if they had a build date for my car yet. They've just e-mailed me back to say the car's en-route to the supplier from the factory.

A September 1st (well, 2nd coz 1st's a Sunday) delivery could be on the cards here...

You know? You're absolutely right. Seven days a week, they deliver.

All depends on whether they get it in time to deliver for the 1st in any case...

Which obviously they didn't

Anyway, the car arrived at the dealer in Spain on Friday. Virgin are now awaiting the documentation before they can issue me with the final balance request.

Anticipating delivery end of September now.

Gnaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!

Glad you had better luck than I did with Virgin cars.
I've had my 206cc for nearly 5 months and soooo happy with it, it almost seems like a bad distant dream!
Happy driving in a few weeks!
