Hi,

I've just picked up my 206CC (imported) and I have a couple of minor issues that someone here might know how to fix.

1. The warning messages come up in French. For instance when I picked it up there was a low fuel warning in French. Does anyone know how to get the language changed?

2. The trip computer is currently set to Km, although the dash is set to Miles.

3. The spanner symbol is showing constantly. The car has now only done 20 miles. Does this need reseting, or is it supposed to be there?

Appart from this, everything is good. ;)

Thanks

Ian

dont be afraid to push the two buttons on the side of the display of your driving computer. Playing a bit with them you can change your language to english and km to miles...

Sorted!! You're a star!

Language now is in English, and trip computer in MPH!

As for the other problem, when I turn the ignition on, it reckons that my next service is due at 50Miles, although I didn't think it needed a 50Mile service! I did stumble accross something ages ago that told yuo how to reset the intervals. DO you think that's all I need to do here? Or would I be better taking it to a Peugeot dealer?

you can reset it yourself... the first service is at 30000 km, dont know how many miles that is but its described in your manual how to do reset the counter. Dont remember how, but I remember that it is an easy and quick thing to do.

My manual is in French!! Although I can get someone to translate for me.

I think the first service is 6000Miles, then 20,000 miles.
