All,

I can confirm that after much discussion on this forum that all imports come with a 2yr warranty - whether Peugeot like it or not.
I've had my car for over 2 months and the first (6000 mile) service is due. I rang my import dealer and they said the EUu ruling went through on April 2002 and it is compuslory for all imports to have 2 yrs warranty. I then rang the "Monkies" and reluctantly confirmed it!

HaHa are you having that Peugeot?!?!?!

Hopefully anything that goes wrong in the 3rd year of ownership doesn't cost anymore than the savings you have made by buying an import!

Nah - I purchased the 3rd year for a mere £65 quid, so importing is still well worth it in fact lots of UK purchasers are having trouble selling their CC's cos the imported ones are under cutting them - champion!

Too true Marco, I found that out when selling my UK CC. Just researched and found out that Acor of Bournmouth, a good import company, can save £4,000 on the price of most UK dealer mercs !

Just got auto cc and saved, £4812.80 on best uk deal offered. I figure that is enough to replace a couple of engine in year three before I think about breaking even.
Got the cc eleven weeks quicker too

My parents have their own garage, I'd rather have my own warranty and my dad service the car than those monkey
