In the last three days I have had problems with my brake and clutch pedals. My car has been in my garage for about a week (due to rainy weather) and yesterday I took it out for a spin in the Sunshine (at last!)

Whilst setting off up the road I changed into 2nd gear the problem started. Both the clutch and the brake pedal seemed to be stuck together whilst I pressed the clutch pedal (brake pedal only moved slightly with the clutch), after changing up the gears to 4th, then back down to 2nd ( approx. 300 yards) the problem seemed to free itself. I stopped and checked that the floor mat had not caught on both of the pedals, it wasn't catching them. Another 100 yards or so (back up the gears to 4th) the problem had gone.
Today (2 days later) again, the same distance from my house the same thing happened! After going up the gears and back down the problem disappeared.
Any idea's? I am going to give both pedals a good spray of WD40 to see if this solves the problem. I've only had the car since May (1500 miles), has anyone else had any problems like this? :???:
