Hey arjay
I have to agree whole heartedly with your comments on toomey. Absolutely useless, from the day i collected the car to every visit i have had to make there since. I dont go back there at all and wild horses wouldnt make me. I would recomend heath park in romford they are the best i have found so far, they even had windstops in stock!

Charters Peugeot In Aldershot.
Ok i got a good price but i called 2 weeks before i picked up my car only to be told it was in Calais and takes 10 working days to travel over seas. Bearing in mind the car was on order for 4.5 months.
Very pleased to mention the sales guy who took my order is no longer there.)
(just added the disclamer - admin)

Not very happy with Warwick Wright Brent Cross, or more precisely Cecil Green one of the salesman. So far he has either told me nothing or the wrong thing.
Firstly he told me that my car would be ready at the end of July so I sold my car ready for the delivery of the new one. Then found out via Peugeot Customer Services that it was always going to be the end of August!
Secondly he gave me the reg number last week and said I was more than welcome to come in early and sort out all the paperwork and pay for the car to avoid any hold ups on the day of collection. So I turned up on Saturday to be asked for 2 forms of ID for the finance agreement (hadn't been told to bring anything) and to be told to insure the car from the 6th Sept as the 8th (when I am picking it up) is a Sunday and to get the insurance certificate send direct to the dealership. Had not been told any of this when given the reg number earlier so good job I had not sorted the insurance out for the 8th.
After signing the finance stuff was told the rest would be done on the day I collected the car as they couldn't do it there and then.
I know none of this is huge but it has still been irritating. I have had to chase the dealer all the time of details of my delivery date and then I have only found the correct info from Peugeot Customer Services.
Be wary of Warwick Wright Brent Cross because they seem to not care once they have your order in the bag

Still not got our car back from Warwick Wright Brent Cross. They will have had it for 4 weeks from tomorrow 1st thing. They might bring it back tomorrow, but insurance cover note on courtesy car runs out at midnight today.
They are a ship drifting without anyone at the helm. Chris Babb, the General Manager, who we had been dealing with never returned from holiday last week and no longer works for them! Salim Shivji the After Sales Manager is in charge, (I was originally told he was the Service Manager?)
Also, check the finance deal! They did us out of £55! We had a quote from their Matthew Meager which had a £90 acceptance fee. This turned out to be £95 on the day of collection and a £50 purchase fee had been added to the last payment as it was a HP agreement and not a loan as originally described!
Good Luck,

Another thing re the insurance cover note.
They do the tax disc themselves. We got our cover note sent to them in the week and were picking our car up on the Saturday. When we turned up we were told the tax disc was not ready as our cover note had the Saturday's date on it. We had to wait for the member of staff who did the tax discs to come in before we could have the car!

Eye See,
Thanks for all the info. Matthew Meager did my finance as well. I have got the £95 admin charge but I will check re the £50 final payment charge.
I hope they sort my tax disc out. I am trying to get it all sorted this week as I am on holiday from Friday and want to pick it up on the day I come back (8th Sept). The insurance cert should get to them tomorrow and is valid from the 6th so they should have no prob issuing the tax disc. I will be chasing them even more now I know what problems you have had.
BTW where do you live and what colour is your CC? Will look out for you. Mine will be Aegean Blue/leather and I live in Neasden.

NikkiC,
We are from Bedford - we don't get anywhere near London except when buying a car or travelling to/from Heathrow or Gatwick!
It is a 1.6S, black (with white paint spots courtesy of Camdens of Bedford!).
Enjoy it when you get it - At least you will be on a 52 plate!

Glad to hear (kind of) that its not only me having problems with the dealers. I get the impression they had a big shake up last month of staff. My original sales contact suddenly vanished. However what they didnt do was give me a new contact until i called them 2 weeks ago asking when i should get my number plate so i could sort the insurance ready the 1st September 2002. Anyway finally got everything sorted and am now waiting for Sunday. Still it is a shame when the customer has to do all the chasing. Call me 'Colin Cautious' but you cant help but have a gut feeling that the car isnt going to be there on Sunday. Will keep you all posted.
By the way im being £95 admin fee but have heard nothing about the £50 issue others have had. Hmmmmm

Hi,
Ordered new cc 2.0 for the missus with met paint and leather in Feb for £14300. Should have been delivered in May. Finally got car last Thursday after numerous phone calls, emails faxes etc. Price was increased to £14875. No surpise there.
Name and shame Micronet Showrooms. Check out there website along with micronot.com
However, finally got the car. Wife is over the moon.
