How about giving some of the newbies a quick bit of history then Lyndon? You know, why you started it, how successful it was at first, how you decided on Moderators, how many people you've had to ban, how much time you've spent tinkering etc

my memories of this site....

i remember coming on it once when i was looking into details about the car a couple of years ago and thought wow cool site loads of info....but then i lost it :sad:

eventually after alot of lookin around when i was about to order my CC i found it and started posting on the old forum, and have never looked back since

I had been wondering why no manufacturer (that I knew of at the time

) had devised a folding metal hard top as it made so much sense. I saw the CC advertised almost a year ago before any had arrived in the country, in a brochure for our motor show. I came across this site cruising the net looking for info about it. Only read the forum for a while before making my first tentative posts

You all seemed like a fairly friendly bunch and willing to share, offer advice, and crack jokes. We've had Simon Pugsport, Derek's rejection, Rob's defection

, the paul738 incident, insurance company spies, Big Bother, the occasional quiz, plenty of helpful posts, and plenty of good jokes. We've coined phrases (monkeys, topless,...) and had meets (well you lot over there have anyway).

Lyndon, you are a champion for creating the site and all the rest of you are too for being a part of it. I can't wait to meet you all one day!!!
