i took mine in to be sprayed ready for fitting for when i get my cc and the dealer says that it has indicators on each side and that it was at my risk for him to connect to the multiplex wiring as if anything went wrong this could affect my warrenty and also the new sony cd head unit i have but then i said i had peugeot parts (connectors)that allow me to retain use of the stalk control and he said that would be ok then .any veiws on this anyone (please no jokin on this one im not happy with my dealer at the moment and may not near go near them again after this purchase and 2 new peugeot 206 lx models before )

Why don't you just put on the spoiler and not wire it up

AN EMAIL FROM esquiss the makes of the spoiler heres the message(remember they are french) :
Dear Sir,

We used the position lights as position light and not as indicators and we connect them with the lights of the number plate.
We do not touch at the multiplex system.
If you need more information you can call ECOSSE at 00.44.1506.516.106

Yours sincerely....
Then I rang ecosse they say not to connect too the number plate light as they will just remain on when u use your lights they said that they do connect to the indicators and they dont interfere with the muliplex anyone got the spoiler and can u help me out on this ?

Well of course they do. That's what position lights are.

i'm guessing because i'm not at all technically minded  ........

i guess position lights are basically lights that stay on all the time (when normal lights are on). i thought they were intended as indicator lights too but obviously i was wrong.

although i would prefer the lights to be indicators they wouldn't look too bad as being plain normal lights - at night in the dark anyway

personally i would go along with what ecosee say as i believe with their experience with peugeots then they must know what they are talking about.

willie,

ecosse deal solely with peugeot mods so i would put faith in them (?)

the whole multiplex thing is a bit of a nightmare as i was trying to get a CD changer from halfords that worked with multiplex and i ended up giving up.

p.s. i'll still buy that spoiler for £10
