The Crappy Stalk

Hi,

I have loads of ICE in my car now and don't need the standard peice of S*** that is used to control the stereo..how easy is it to remove from the column?

rumour has it that it's very easy to remove. just take the stearing column cover off and then pop it out is its a push fit fitting .... but like i said thats rumour I thought about it, but in the end never bothered.

It's very easy! I will try to explain it to you as much as I can, but bear in mind trhat my English are not perfect :smile:
Remove the steering wheel cover, and then look under the wheel where the stalk control is adjusted. If you just try to pull the stalk out it wont come out.
You must also push a little spot which holds the stalk to the column connected.
The whole precedure is very easy if you find this spot. The first time I had tried it I didn't see that spot and couldn't figure out how I should pull the stalk out. Just find that little spot, push it a bit and on the same time pull the stalk out.
That's it...
