it's all a matter of personal taste. i don't think i will get the spoiler although not 100% made my mind up. one thing is the back of the CC is a bit plain so a spoiler would make it look a bit better. i wouldn't say it makes it look boyracer or anything as it isn't like the spoiler design for a hatchback or anything.

Go for the spoiler!!! I take delivery of my CC on 1st March and my dealer has sorted me out with an Ecosse rear spolier for £320 sprayed and fitted!
I agree that the back of the car can look a little plain and I think the spoiler finishes it off nicely - I will post some pictures when I take delivery and then you can all make your minds up!!!!
The spolier is very subtle and definitely does not look boyracerish - God forbid!

i'm still considering the rear spoiler and vents from ecosse - easy to get them fitted as their workshop is less than 10 miles from my house. but i will wait and see whether i keep my CC or reject it before i spend another penny on it.

rachel,
after my letters, peugeot didn't care much and had to be reminded to reply. the dealer took all on board and had my car for 9 days to fix the faults. when i got it back, the rattle wasn't as bad, but the leak was a lot worse and now on both sides. everything else was fixed.
due to the heavy rain, i gave the CC back last thursday as i wasn't letting it get soaked. parts are due in on wednesday. when i left the car, i told the after sales manager that if it wasn't fixed 100% then i would be rejecting the car. after finding his tongue he said it it came to that he would do what he could for me.
after peugeot's lack of interest i am seriously considering taking a full refund if i do reject the car instead of a replacement. I haven't bought 6 new peugeots since 1994 to be treated like that. i could stick the money in the bank, let it earn some interest and hire a Merc A Class from Easy Rentacar at £9 per day for 2 or 3 months and carefully decide what car to get next. it would be a shame not to have a CC after waiting 2 years to get one but we will just have to wait and see.
i will let you know how things go.

Good for you. I know my problem was minor in comparison but when you've paid so much money for a vehicle (plus like you its not my first Peugeot) you shouldn't be palmed off. I replace my car every couple of years so I expect to be treated like a valued customer. I am now, I get very good treatment fromt the after sales director. Shame you're so far away or I'd recommend you speak to him! Please keep me up to date with developments, I'd like to know how it turns out for you.
