Okay...so I've now been waiting for four months, and the delivery date is set for "the middle of September". Just sold my current car after posting it on Loot's website on Tuesday and now I have no transport at all.

Still, I should have it (2.0SE) for the last few days of the British Summer.

I'm hoping that Peugeot have sorted out the micro-switch problem that affected the roof mechanism on the early cars.

Derek, I read something about it in one of the Sundays a while back. You would have thought that I would have paid more attention to the article, but alas, it was a Sunday therefore I had about 60% of my brain switched off.

Seems from what I've read so far, the biggest problem that people have had all centre on the roof (sticking, leaking etc). I don't care - I still stop and look when I see a P206CC on the street.

Wanted to get the black one, but my partner warned me that they look great when their clean, then 8 minutes later, they look dirty again.

So I've opted for the silver.

I'm literally counting the minutes.

Cheers Julia.

First aim is to do a booze cruise to Calais. Who knows, I may be able to get a couple of bottles of wine and perhaps a baguette into the boot.

well i think your brain was 100% switched on when you picked silver

welcome to the club also

i think the micro switch problem was minor as it wasn't mentioned on the forum much apart from the recall.

sticking roofs are quite rare also.

leaking roofs were a major problem. i rejected a CC due to that reason in march after getting it in december. there have been very few reports on leaking roofs since but i am worried incase the cold weather affects the seals as a lot of the problems were in the colder weather but we will just have to wait and see.

anyway good luck with your purchase - i find most people look when i drive by, although mainly with the roof down - noesy people
