Picture driving your brand new CC out of the works car park. Notice your boss is just behind you ... go down the road at 5mph .... now take the roof down

Well it made me feel good anyway

My boss was in a BIG meeting with all our directors.

I park in the car park in view of the conference room and put the roof up. The whole room stood up to watch

Next time he saw me he said I was getting a pay cut.

the other week i was talking to my RBM (regional business mgr) after a meeting and he was sitting in his shiny new VW Passat company car. he said it's got a trip computer, have you got one, i said yes - then he said and it's got heated mirrors - got them too - then i asked if he had auto lights and auto wipers - he said no

i did say it was far better than the mondeo he had before - he said the mondeo was embarrassing

Its best cos my boss has a clapped out Fiesta that failed its MOT recently ..hehe.

Why is it that most management at our place drive around in bangers .... weird that.

Do they know something I don't ?!

Well, one hot workingday in july i went down
to town to get some soft drinks for my
workingmates. When i got back i drove the
cc in on the company area just to reduce the
distance to carry the 60 bottles of soda.

Note that to get the sodas was an working assignment. Anyway, it didnt pass more then 10 min until i got a call from the the chairman of the bord of directories saying that driving on the company ground was prohibited due to the risk of things getting
stolen (eg computers) "Yeah right" i thought
"come on lads, load the my cc full of computers and lets get out of here"

The irony is that the company is in the logistics and loads and unloads about 50 trucks a day. So the issue was more me passing the boss office with the top down i think. The boss drives an Volvo S80, ha,ha,

Not so easy to impress my direct manager. His first comment when I said what car I was buying was "What do you want that 'hairdressers' car for?" Grrrrrr. Plus there is someone already working here who owns one!
