Peugeot Aftermarket Interface

As I had promised, and with the great help of Lyndon,

you can all see what Peugeot provides (in Greece at least) for aftermarket unit installations, ONLY to the CCs with multiplex system. Also, I will remind you this : If the car comes without the factory unit, then you can only install this adaptor. But if the car comes with the unit, then your dealer or any Peugeot service MUST disable BSI from checking for the old factory unit!!! :eek:

multiplex system ??what is this? mine came without the head unit though there was the control on the side of the steering wheel how can i make it work i have a sony head unit.

which store sells it in greece i figured out mine is a multiplex one.for sony head unit and what is thepart number how much it cost maybe ??

You don't need to go to any store and buy it. You can go to LION Hellas or DAKAR and they can do the job for you. All the details can be seen on the photo I've sent at home page here with name "Stereo Interface".

just phoned peugeot and that lead is Â£2.50 inc vat, just order one and am going to try it tomorrow!

So, if I order this, I will be able to use the stalk with an after market unit?

However I still need to go to the Peugeot dealer to disable my factory installed unit in the BSI, right? And than I won't have the after market radio playing for 2 minutes after taking out the key?

The factory stalk does not work with the prementioned interface

As for markfc, why don't you make a FAQ about this topic??? After all what you say seems to be incorrect! You can make a Sony work with the stalk, see www.connects2.co.uk ;-)
