Hi,
Got bored yesterday so decided to debadge the back of my car (just the words not the lion). Used my mum's hairdryer and my bare hands.....it took about 5 mins and I think it looks quality.
Still couldn't get the red reflectors off - no matter how much I heated them up..
Steve
Debadging is easy

Nah...I had to use my mum's cos I haven't got one. My heads shaved so there isn't much point. It is dry as soon as i get out of the shower.
You can see my car at http://lomax.i8.com
sorry in advance for the pop-ups - its a free site and i need to move it somewhere better.
Haven't got pictures of it without the badges yet...but will have soon.
Where in stoke-on-trent do u live Jo? I work there for Caudwell. But live in Stockport

Great car Steve, like your Clio too, my previous car was a clio too, loved it, I was even more attatched to it than I am to my cc!!
Got a crap deal for it though from Peugeot when part exing it in. Was gutted but very happy that I did it! I'm just going to hate giving my car (Puggy she's called!) back even though I'm having another cc
, not sure on the colour though, quite fancy green, it sure stands out better than silver!

De-badge  how come? There's no engine size badge to hide.
(Reminds me of when I was small and always melted down my ice-cream before eating it after someone had gone to the trouble of freezing the thing in the first place-oops sorry for the poor analogy. OMG what on earth am I typing at this time of morning).
Hmm, mind you, come to mention it, maybe its not such a bad idea to hide the fact the CC is a Peugeot
PS. While your there, stick a mercedes badge on instead, that'll confuse em
Robbie.

LOL!!
Like it mate....
I debadged it to make to back end smoother...its euro style. Its cool cos its off set by the jap style lexus rear lights and quads. Makes the car look phatter from the back (mancunian spelling).
The clio was top. It was my second car...the first was a crappy a-reg rust bucket. Then I went to uni for 3 years, got a job and bought the clio.
All it needed was spoiler, wheels and Bass to make it cooler.
Jo - you didn't tell me where you worked/lived in stoke-on-trent. I wana look out for you! Sounds like Erm isn't the only stalker eh?

Steve - I live in Werrington and work at Bucknall Hospital, less than 2 miles from my home! Great for travelling, start work at 8, roll out of bed at 7.30 and I'm still on time!! Oh and I forgot..........wake up about midday after being there for about 4 hours!!!
Have now been asked to work on the IT helpdesk (as I'm so polite on the phone to the muppets that ring up!) which is great...........sit surfing this site while waiting for the phone to ring.........couldn't be better.
God I love my life!!!!
