ok I asked this question when i was in Texas ... why are there only a few cab's ... and why do they never have the roof down ... well apparently in the summer it is so hot that if they put the roof down the interiors melt and people get very burned.

don't explain those miserable so and so's on the m4 though

Im not convinced about those, I don't like something in view of my mirror. I use my mirrors alot. I had advanced drver training and tend to look around alot more than most. err if you see what i mean.

I recommend those windstops, they really are brilliant at stopping cabin turbulance and don't seem to obscure the rear view much except for the jam sandwiches if your doing a ton of course ;)

I haven't got a windstop, but i find the cabin wind is very good without, even doing 100.
The only time it gets really windy is when there is a strong sidewind. The windscreen seems to do a good job in deflecting the swell of front wind over my head!

Well, this happen in Spain too! Its not very usual to have people drive around with roof down because of the heat! So actually its better to have a cab in the UK .

Visibility with the windstop in place is actually quite good, definately worth the investment.

when driving on the motorway, you really can't feel any wind if you have the windows and windstop up.

Buy one!!

don't mention jam sandwiches and 100mph in the same post.

yesterday morning i went past one at 5.40am at that speed. i noticed it as i passed it and looked at my speedo to see 100mph and thought oh ****.

i looked in my mirror expecting to see it coming after me with blue lights but it never - i'm hoping i got away with it
