I´m thinking about replacing the head unit on my cc, getting a clarion in car dvd player (all in one unit), the questions are... how complicated is to get a system like this one on my car?, do I have to take to the dealer so if something goes wrong with the connection they can fix it under warranty? as far as i know, my car is multiplexed...
I appreciate any help

Hello Juan,
You want to know if you could change your head unit. Of course you can! There is no problem with the warranty at all. I believe you are aware of your current unit is a Clarion already (Clarion RD1 PU994). So you won't have any problem replacing it with another Clarion unit.
The only thing you should take care of, is to ask your dealer's technician, if you need an extra interface to install, just like the one you'll find at the home page http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/
This interface is being used for aftermarket unit installations (other than Peugeot's preinstalled units) and it's being provided by Peugeot as well!
Also know that your CC has multiplex system, and your current unit is being controlled by car's computer (BSI). So when you change the Peugeot's unit, technician should DISABLE the control of the unit by BSI!
For more informations, you should ask your dealer (if he knows too...:???: )
Cheers,
