Going back to an old favourite, I've just received my renewal notice from Direct Line. £379 plus No Claims Protection Plus legal = £460.

So I rang the AA - cheapest basic premium was £578!!!

Then NU direct (for Laydeeeez) and theirs was laughable - £690 something.

Just thought I'd let you know ;)

That's really good!

Mine's £600 with full no claims (protected) & legal. That is with Elephant, who were the cheapest for me.

Maybe I should stop living in London?

Has anyone tried esure? Their quote was £412 with NC protection and legal cover, but no medial/personal possessions... why?

I think you have to be an OAP (or female) before they'll insure you on a 206cc.

I tried esure and they wouldn't quote for me. I think you have to be a female OAP with full no claims living in a secure environment with alarmed garage guarded by dogs, surrounded by barbed wire and only drive 0.4 miles a year and drive a 1.1 Fiesta with alarm and immobiliser

 Are you two trying to tell me something?!!!! They were the cheapest for me. So I'm an OAP then - I don't care if it saves me money :D And I'll catch you up at the lights ;)

guess I am just jealous.
I thought I would get a decent qupte off them as I am over 30, female with full no claims but I guess living in London and parking on the road went against me

£412 just me or £413 for me and Steve. He's such a liability - for anyone else their spouse brings their quotes down!

Esure wouldn't even quote for me as I had a claim with my previous insurers (long story involving a 'joy'rider using my old Mondeo as a crash barrier whilst parked outside my mate's flat).

Nice!

Prudential proved the cheapest which was weird seeing a they quoted £800 last year on an N reg Mondy with full NCB.

Alex you cheeky g*t ! :)
I'm with Esure 34yr old MALE! £564.71 for fully comp+protected NCB + legal cover. Saved me nearly £100 compared to my renewal quote from Tesco.

I'd advise anyone to get a quote from them. (0845 603 4471)

Rgds

Rich :)

p.s In a flagrant self promotion/attempt to gain some dosh please quote Ref: 0000567148 if you take out a policy.

Well they wouldn't insure me, and I've not had a claim in the 11 years I've been driving...

Anyway, Direct Line will do me fine.
