Cord in boot

The white cord ... it keeps coming off . the dealer already put it back on, but i cant figure out how to do it .. as fas as i can see it comes off everytime i use the roof ... :(

have u made sure its pushed into the lil hole for it so its secure???

what little hole? Ive never touched it in my life .... I just happened to be taking it to the dealer to get my seat fixed and other stuff, and saw it so asked them to fix it. Now its dropped off again, honest guv' my fingers have never touched it :oops:

it should be tucked in in the little hole like in this pic of lyndons ( :D ) boot

Humm... I think mine was left by the dealer looking like the first link.
Is it easy to put back myself? I cant see how you can get inside....

I assume its for the manual roof release, which sounds a bit scary if i have to ever do that :(

errr .. but the whole cords come off ... .... arghh ....
ill get them to put it back on when i take it in to get my switch changed - third time lucky, teehee.

hi andrew- erm is right. this happened to me- i went back 3 times to my dealer with this problem & when i got it back from them the 3rd time i noticed that they had tucked it into the hole. when you lower the roof, i think it catches it if it is left out and pulls it off. if, when you get it back, your dealer has left it out again, just tuck it in & you should be fine 8) good luck!
