Got my CC today. All seems fine, i'm just a bit miffed. For some reason when I lock the car all up @ night the mileometer display stays lit. So all that is lit in the car is the little flashing LED and the mileometer reading. Is this right?? I'm not sure!

Also there's a button near the air bag shut off switch that doesn't appear to do anything at all, any ideas?

Ello

I think I know what that button is for...

It is for turing off the interior alarm - for example if you leave a window open or an animal in the car... You dont want the ultrasonics left on whilst there is air movement going on in there....

OK here goes.

If you press the button once youve stopped the car and taken the keys out the following happens

press until the hazard light comes on (about 2 seconds press) and the internal sensors go off (until you turn ignition)

press for about 10 seconds and the whole alarm system goes off.... Again - the hazards do something....

I think thats right....

Ok cheers mate. I haven't been holding it down, i've just been poking it on and off and seeing what happened. But nothing did happen. I feel happier now I know what they all do.

Sorry thanks both of you, you've both been a great help. Didn't expect such a quick reply.
