maybe you should ask the local council to make the roads wider
i also work similar to yourself except i get paid no overtime after doing 39 hours - then i work the rest of the week for nothing

the EU working time directive states that you are not allowed to work on average over 48hrs per week.
unfortunately there is an opt out clause that I signed mainly down to the fact that you can't always manage a multi million pound business working 39hrs per week.
luckily apart from when i work 10hrs every 3rd sunday (part of consolidated salary) then my average weekly hours are still in the 40's and there are guys out there in the 70's which i have done in the past at a different store - that's the way it is.
although it does pay well enough for me to buy a CC (keeping post CC related)
