I read an article here recently and someone suggested a link for changing the dials and dash lighting. The company involved said they are not taking anymore orders as they have too many.

Does anyone know how I can change the orange backlight to blue like in the Volkswagen Golf or recommend anywhere else that can do it. As I want the dash lighting/filter changing I will also have to change the HDU unit and the colour on the CD/aircon unit.

cheers

With regards to changing the dash - the problem is that the plastic dash (speedo ) is stained orange so you cant just change a bit of plastic behind (by the way - the arms are also orange and these would need to be replaced with blue ones )

As for the center console - I've changed this from Orange to blue also... It looks lovely at night but the blue on the top display (clock bit) doesnt show up too well in the daylight. Not too much of a problem for me as I have changed the headunit so it only shows the time / temp. I'm currently playing around with this to make it better.....

Thats what I forgot to look at when I saw you at the meet! I wanted to see how the dials and stuff looked after you had fiddled and changed them blue! Grrrrr. Have to wait till next time now!
