Fitted my Aluminium hoops yesterday (Ecosse), Hmm nice.
But have a small gap round the bottom where it meets but only on one side of each of them. I dont want to overtighten them as i read on here somewhere about shearing off the ends.

Anyone found anything suitable to go on the bottom of them? Some sort of gromit i think. (i used that word just so someone (Erm, probably) could make a crack about Wallace) :P

Yeah there is a small gap at the bottom of mine too, and when i i checked Erm's car, his were the same, but not really noticable so have just left it. BTW make sure you get the hoops the right way round otherwise they look a little odd!

Do you mean the top of the hoop pointing to the front of the car rather than the back? I hope so, cos thats all i checked. :?
