I like the idea of the Saturday meet in the pub and then onto Alton Towers Sunday. Will give us more of a chance to meet and talk in the pub. Then for people like me that don't like all the big scary rides, we can decide whether to go to Alton Towers with everyone or not. At least that way we all get to spend some time together.

Although I only live 45 mins from Alton Towers I would be tempted to go North London just to be part of a 206 convoy.

Awwww, I liked the idea of the York ghoulies on the Saturday night! Ok, so I have an aversion to Alton Towers ever since I threw up on the corkscrew

but I'll go with the flow (and Julia and Claire!).

Come on then Burge, fixed a date yet? You have to get the weather right as well!

Looking forward to it already. And yes, pub is a good idea on the saturday. Is there a travel lodge anywhere? What about www.wetherspoons.co.uk, do they have any lodges near enough?
