Anyone got any good suggested methods of carrying a spare tyre without totally compromising the limited boot space? ( Actually, not sure a spare wheel would fit in there anyway. )
I am a control freak - there! I've said it! I just like to think that I can change my tyre if needed without having to rely sole on this emergency blow up your tyre thingy that came with the 206SE < very technical I know> or having to call out the AA.
( Oh and before anyone else gets in there first, the spare tyre I am talking about is the one for the car not the midriff! So no corset jokes!)

Yep, why not buy Stuart's shiny chrome boot rack accessory in the sale thread for only £150 bargain! New, they're real expensive.
Those chrome boot racks look real cool on the car too and you can still raise and lower the roof with them in place provided not too much weight is on them, I reckon a spare wheel would be OK.
(Or as a last resort do what Pauline did by turning her spare wheel upside down and using the inner hole as extra stowage space).
yeah i bought a spare alloy from rob, and if you keep it in the boot turned over there isnt much space taken up by it cause u can fit shopping in the middle (thanks pauline)
i know the feeling when you don´t have a spare wheel believe me, i blew up one and i had to wait about 5 hours to get assistance, since that day on i bougth the same kind of alloy wheel, so now i have the same size on all of them...
I too bought a spare from del boy rob and would not be without it, it does take up alot of space in the boot, but as with Pauline suggestion, it's full of things I always keep in the boot. I've also gor a boot tray so the boot stays nice and clean. I would not be without my spare wheel
Just one thing. Bear in mind my fledgling status in this forum...but everyone seems to direct me to Rob without really explaining why? I assume that either he's in the trade or this is a blind date thing!
The latter is fine but I need time to make myself beautiful!

Yep Rob is the man to ask when you want something CC related!!!
You can rest assure he will always get you the best price possible and he does it for the benefit of you and doesn't make money on what he sells.
You will always have the reassurance as well as he has helped out so many forum members with cc related bits n bobs!
