A friend at work has just shown me his Peugeot Alarm Overide Card. Basically a card with an overide procedure to disable the car alarm with a specific code ?. Does anyone else have one of these for their 206cc ??. He has a 306. :?:

How would you enter the code?

Older 306's have a immobilzer with a key pad into which you type your security code (4 figures)

is this what you talking about?

No my mates 306 is a 97 P reg witout keypad. The card code routine is for the alarm only as the key disables the immobiliser. Looked at his card and it goes on the sequence of the Red Led count x number of times switch ingnition off/on. do this a round 5 times while varying number of times of Led flash !!!

Checked manual card booklets etc. nothing to suggest the alarm can be overiden. manual does say if the alram fails you will get a message on the display. Lets hope the chip that tells dosn't fail as well.

I had this overide card with my 106, all it tells you is to how many times to turn the iginition on and off before finally starting. And should the alarm go off what the number of flashes represents.

My 106 was R-Reg and just assumed the alarm was now super improved !! and this was no longer required.
