Best car - X-reg Escort 1.6GL bought for £600 in '96/'97. Pathetic performance until I spent 2 minutes under the bonnet twisting the dizzy cap round. Then - hold on to your hats :D

Worst car - A-reg Escort 1.3L bought for £300 in '99. Pathetic performance until I sold it for scrap 6 months later when I got my first ever brand new car (Fiesta).

Best Car : Has to be the CC
Worst Car : Audi TT (AUDI = Always Under Dealer investigation)
Full new interior . two new turbos new ecu new door hinges new indicators plus other recall work. Two new Aircon units .. best bit though it's not mine. Bought the CC at the same time as my mate bought his TT and we play a great game called whose got the owrst car ;)

My own eworst car ... had to be Vauxhall Nova 1.2L saloon fido dido graphics and ots of other 'stylin accesories' ;)

Best Car: Well predictably my red 206cc 1.6S

Worst Car: Amazingly not my first car which was an '88 1.1 Fiesta Ghia which never broke down.
Infact its my last car a S plate 306 Meridian which broke down 3 times 2 water leaks and a knackered clutch. And a radio/tape/CD that kept jamming and reluctant glow plugs that killed the battery on a cold morning. The car is now being happily crashed and thrashed by my brother.

Best - Has to be the Black CCSE, it's the only car I've enjoyed more than the Bikes I used to love!

Worst - spoilt for choice really, Minis (original), Maestros (including the talking computer one, wasn't that the 'vanden plas'?), Metro's, Montegos (with two rear facing child seats) I've had em all. For some reason I kept changing one heap of old scrap for another (maybe it was cost!).

However I must sing the praise of the Austin Allegro Estate I had about 10 years ago. It cost next to nothing, never let me down, had nearly as much boot space as my Galaxy, and I got more than I paid for it when I sold it. Ok it handled like a drunken camel and struggled to overtake milk floats but you can't have everything :D
