Got in my car this cold morn, after scraping the frozen H20 of the windscreen and turn the key in the ignition.....

ICE WARNING !!!!

My CC went loopy, thanks for reminding me it was only 0oC all the way to work, does it flash on everyone's cars.

Don't know about helping, it was more of a distraction!

More importantly, are there any reprogramming options to stop it distracting you?

I've found that the 'Ice Warning' is only displayed when the temp falls to 3 degrees or below, then the temp flashes slowly until it rises above 3 degrees again. No flashing spot lights or sirens going off though.

it isn't annoying once you get used to it and stop staring at it :)

one bad thing about it is actually when it goes below -3, e.g. -4 then it stops flashing - not like peugeot to get things wrong :P

Nope

I have just a plain old silver one, a 1.6 model hence the desperate need for some decent alloys!

I can often be seen in Festival Park bit at the KFC or B&Q - although I am NOT amongst the usual group of boy racers who are showing of their supa-dupa Nova's, dreaming they had a CC as I drive by with the roof down!

Cool, a Stoke-on-Trent mini meet - anyone interested - lets visit the magnificent sights of the Morrisons. a B&Q, and importantly the KFC!

If you are always there on sunday's are you working or a typical sunday DIYer visiting B&Q?

PS what colour is your CC so I don't beep and hang out of the window at the wrong person.

Imagine some old biddies living life to the full in their new CC who have no idea this forum exists are driving around when a demented CC a'holic who has become infected with the 'Lyndons Forum Virus' sticks his head out of the window at 30 mph shouting and waving at the poor unsuspecting elderly folk!

Imagine the papers on Monday - Police believe the accident was caused by the male driver having a heart attack as he was distracted by a loony 206 CC driver. Police say they are hunting a white male with a silver 206 CC with go faster stripes. Police say there are a couple of distinguishing features, the contant squeaky breaks, water gushing into the car via the roof and a constant clunking from the rear of the car!
