Has anyone got some alloy door pins on their car, if so how had are they to fit? I was thinking of changing them when i have to the door cover off replacing the front speakers.

i just did them 2 days ago!
i got the ones from richbrook that have a little red LED that blinks with my alarm
they look good
but they were not easy to install
you have to cut the original ones off
and the metal stalk they are attached to is very tough. and you have to cut them as they are molded on the metal stalk.
the new ones are very easy to install after you take off the old ones

Fitting Richbrook door pins.
Undo one hex bolt to partly lossen door skin on side.
Hacksaw through metal rod (approx. 2.5mm diameter) below base of existing door pin.
Tad of superglue in new pin and push down on rod. The Richbrook pin takes into account the cutting so it dosen't sit any lower than existing.
Refit door skin.
Spend rest of day getting superglue of your fingers.
