Hey, I've gone one better, I have my 21 month old son washing mine - give him a bucket of water and a sponge and hey presto.

The only drawback is when he opnes the doors and proceeds to wash the inside as well!!!!!!!!!
..it's when he asks for a 40% rise in pocket money for cleaning the car that you have to worry! Few more years to go before then I suspect...

I never use children! They tend to drop the sponge in the gravel - then carry on using it.

Or there was the time some kids knocked on the door and my ex paid them fiver to wash his car. He kept an eye on them through the window and they asked for fresh water - so he assumed they'd be ok  When he went to his car next morning, they'd only washed the half of the car you could see from the window - leaving the other side dirty. So before you cough up, check their work!

I can actually see myself spending a good few hours cleaning my car in the summer - but I'm afraid with the cold spells, it gets a very quick spit and polish.

Can't clean my CC at the moment I put my back out 2 weeks ago :( However there is an American-style car wash that does it all by hand and for a tenner they clean the inside as well
