If its any help a couple of weeks ago my 1.6 cost me about £140. Should be about the same as the cost of the parts they actually replace cant be that different.. can they??
I paid £102.38 for my 20K service which included an oil change with fully synthetic oil (not your semi-synthetic stuff). Mind you, they did owe me a couple of favours so I think they gave me fully-synthetic for the price of semi.
Oh great!
Ripped off, they didnt even change the air filter! (I have induction kit). Oh and I've had to go back twice since collecting it.
Great way to start the day!
"Shop around" is sound advice - with my old Renault, the main dealer on the A4 quoted £171. My local dealer at home (I left it there and walked back) charged me £96 They were always about 2/3 the price.

Was that Charters of Camberley? I know you are local so wondered if it was a local dealer.
If so, I will use this as proof for them to charge me accordingly!
One of many uses to this forum!
Unfortunately it wasn't a Peugeot dealer at all (which means I've propably blown my Warranty) but a small "two-men-and-a-dog" outfit just around the corner from where I live.
I've been using them for years from they days I used to put 24,000 miles a year onto my old Fiesta with a 6,000 mile service interval. The 206 is one of the most common cars on the road. Provided you're not overawed by the warranty then there's simply no need to go back to Peugeot for servicing.
Part of the purpose of these warranties is to squeeze out independent garages by denying them bread and butter work such as routine serviceing and access to new car models, not to mention attempting to get people to get into the habit of using the dealer as their first port of call.
To be honest I don't place any more credence in these warranties than I do on the ones that come with washing machines and the like. Like I said before, the 206 is one of the most common cars in the country and I'm not convinced that Peugeot can change the oil filter any better than Ron can.
