I get the same problem.

It's ok if the seats are fabric, but the rain water can cause the leather seats real problems later on (even though I have had the diamond bright done!).

It's a real bummer if you have your mobile in the door pocked like me - it gets soaked and then packs up!!

Is there anything that can be done?? Can't afford too many more mobiles!

The gutter strips from a 206 hatch won't fit as they are recessed but how about trying some from another manufcturer(Ford Focus strips look ok) and cutting them to size. They'd have to tuck under the windscreen rubber to stop lift. I have spoken to both Peugeot UK and my supplying dealer on this to no avail. It's a very inconvenient design fault and when I leave the car with a wet crutch.....................

I have spoken to Peugeot UK and my dealer to no avail. Surely we can make constructive suggestions rather than facetious replies to find a cure for this real design fault. I am looking at gutter strips on other cars to see which are flat and easily fitted and adapted. They would have to tuck into the windscreen rubber to prevent lift. I'll keep you posted but I FEEL PEUGEOT UK SHOULD BE BOMBARDED WITH E MAILS OF COMPLAINT SO THAT THEY COMEUP WITH A FIX. Peugeot gutter strips won't do as they have to be recessed.

Alan - Sounds like a good idea! Let me know if there's an update on the leak.

I'll get on to my pug dealer too see if there's anything they can do... there won't be, of course!! but we can hope!

I have only just found this website and was so relieved to hear that many of you are experiencing the same problem as me (ie when the car is wet and you open your window its like a bl**dy waterfall) I am a smoker and open my windows to let the smoke out. It is soooo annoying when I am on my way somewhere and my arm gets soaked wet through, as does the arm rest on the door and all the compartments. It annoys me so much I could cry !!! I have been reading some solutions, does anybody think there is a cheap way of getting this problem fixed !!!!!!

Cheers guys and gals

Even if I gave up smoking I always drive with my window open as its nice and fresh. So really giving up smoking isn't a solution to an obvious design fault !!
